Registered massage therapists are health care professionals committed to restoring and maintaining optimal health and pain-free function of the body. They are educated and trained to accurately assess and treat with techniques that include massage and manual therapy, joint mobilization, hydrotherapy, and rehabilitative exercise such as stretching, strengthening, postural exercise, and patient education.

Sang Muk (Hans) Han is a registered massage therapist in BC.

He studied at Vancouver Career College with 2800 hours of practical training. Before entering the massage program, he was in the massage industry for about 5 years in different countries as he traveled around the world.

He loves to share his experiences with the people he treats, and he especially loves to help and listen to his patients.

He is trained to perform appropriate techniques to the various conditions with deep tissue, sport massage, trigger point release and also other various release techniques and more. Additionally, he is very active himself, and he knows how the body works in the activities or sports.

Outside of the work place, he enjoys outdoor nature with cycling, camping, hiking, and skiing. Interestingly, he traveled to Mexico from Vancouver with his bicycle!

Mariel Ramos is a Registered Massage Therapist as of April 2023. She completed her program at Vancouver Career College in January 2023. When she was in school, she spent her outreach days at assisted living residence for seniors and SFU sports medicine for university athletics where she developed the love for relaxation/swedish and sports massage.

Mariel enjoys working with diverse patients and she believes each body has unique needs and should be addressed accordingly. She finds it very rewarding to help others feel better. In her practice, she uses a variety of techniques to cater to each need, including Swedish or relaxation, trigger point/myofascial techniques and joint mobilization.

When Mariel isn’t at work she loves outdoors. She enjoys gardening, a good book in her papasan chair with two cats in her lap, walking her dog and spending time with her family and friends.
